Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani is a Indian businessman. He is the Chairman of Reliance Industries, Managing Director and the company's largest shareholder. His personal share in Reliance Industries is 47.25%. The value of their property (according to Forbes) is 48 billion US dollars, so that they are the richest person in India. Then his company Reliance is the largest telecom company of India. Mukesh Ambani is an Indian Business Tycoon, which is the president of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). One of the world's richest people. He is the richest person in India and he is considered one of the world's most powerful celebrities. Mukesh's talent and success can be obtained from the fact that his company is currently the second most valuable company in India.

Mukesh Ambani was born on April 19, 1957, Dhirubhai Ambani and his wife Kokilbhai Ambani's house in Aden (Yemen). His two sisters Deepti Salgaonkar and Nina Kothari and a younger brother Anil Ambani. Before going to Mumbai in 1958, they used to work in a firm in Yemen, where Dhirubhai started his business of spices. Later, his father turned towards the textile business and gradually turned into one of India's most famous business magnets. Mukesh Ambani received his initial education from Hill Grange High School, Mumbai with his brother. Later, he enrolled in the Institute of Chemical Technology, Matunga and achieved BE degree in Chemical Engineering. Then he enrolled in Stanford University (USA) to Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Later, the option of helping his father in the establishment of Reliance Industries.

On returning from abroad, Mukesh helped his father in establishing a polyester filament yarn (PFY) manufacturing plant. In 1981, he officially joined Reliance Industries with his father. He emerged as a promoter of backward integration of Reliance in polyester fiber and further petrochemical. During this process, Mukesh Ambani produced 51 new world-class manufacturing facilities, which included various technologies. Those who increased the manufacturing capabilities of Reliance manifold.

Mukesh also helped in the establishment of Reliance Infocom Limited, which focuses on the Information and Communication Technology Initiative. After sharing the business between the two brothers, his younger brother handled the company which is now known as Limited Reliance Communications.

In 2008, his company Reliance Industries bought $ 111.9 million cricket team in the Indian Premier League Mumbai Indians.

At present, he is a member of the President, Managing Director, President of Finance Committee and Stock Compensation Committee of Reliance Industries.

His company is currently running in five major areas. Exploration and production, refinement and marketing, petrochemical, retail and telecommunications. It has been placed in Fortune Global 500 companies and it is India's second most valuable company according to market value.

Mukesh worked in the Board of Directors of 'Bank of America Corporation' and 'International Advisory Board of Council on Foreign Relations'. He has also worked as a chairman of 'Indian Management Institute Bangalore' (IIMB).
